It’s been 20 years since Mama Jan made her daughter Morgan her “blankie” for her first year in sleepaway camp. Jan wanted her daughter to feel her Mama’s love and warmth her first summer away from home. Morgan’s blanket was cuddly, cozy, and brightly colored with fun cupcakes and candies. It put a big smile on her daughter’s face and cuddling it made her feel closer to home. Her fellow campers all wanted one for themselves.
With the success of the blanket, a business was born. Soon Jan started making fun, colorful, lounge pants in the same delicious fabric with all different adorable themes. All the kids went crazy for them. They were warm, cozy, and just what they wanted to jump into after a day filled with activities at camp or school.
It didn’t take long before word got out and the local upscale children’s boutiques were interested in carrying the products.
